Truro contains a wide range of shops and points of interest for every type of visitor. For shopping, Truro contains a range of national as well as local specialist stores, selling everything from clothing and books, to trinkets and electronics. For lesiure and sight-seeing, there is the Truro Cathedral, which is a visible landmark from almost all points of Truro, which took 30 years to build and was finished in 1910, as well as modern lesiure centres like the local Plaza Cinema and Ten Pin Bowling.

Truro also has a regular market on Truro Piazza and throughout the year various events appear on the Piazza during both the week and the weekend.
